Well Week 2 has passed. INSANE! In exactly one week as I am typing this I will be on a plane flying to Iowa. I'm super excited, but it is so crazy to think that in a week I will not be in Utah! HOLY COW!
The spirit here is very powerful, I love it. The other day I was with Elder Knight and we were ... talking about a message we wanted to share with an investigator about prophets in the TRC. The TRC is like a simulator thing where a teacher will portray a investigator, and it's literally like they are different people! And you just practice teaching on them, and your teacher watches you over a camera and evaluates you. We were talking about our lesson and how we wanted to share that prophets do exist today, but we forgot a picture of President Monson to show and say "this is our modern day prophet"- when out of no where one of the TRCs come ... [up] and asks "so there are prophets today? Didn't they all die off with Peter and Christ?" and we sat there for a sec looked at each other with this look like "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?!" and we practically taught the first lesson.... Totally sponaneous, and epic! It was the coolest thing ever! The only thing is I don't think that it will be that easy in the field, but it was still cool!
Anyways,
I'm loving it here! It's such a great place and I love my mission!
